Firefighters from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec took part in two ceremonial assemblies marking National Independence Day: on November 19 at the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office, and on November 21 at the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec.

Bolesławiec headquarters:

During the assemblies, outstanding firefighters from Bolesławiec were honored with state medals, promotions to higher ranks and official positions, as well as financial awards from the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service.

The President of the Republic of Poland awarded one firefighter the Bronze Medal for Long Service.

Two Saint Florian Badges (...) were awarded to volunteer firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Service in Nowogrodziec and Czerna. The decorations were presented on November 19, 2024, at the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office by the Lower Silesian Voivode, Mr. Maciej Awiżeń, and the Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, Brig. Gen. Marek Hajduk.

The Minister of the Interior and Administration awarded three firefighters Bronze Badges of Merit for Fire Protection.

In addition:

The Chief Commander of the State Fire Service awarded five officers financial prizes for carrying out tasks requiring a significant amount of work, including special commitment to rescue operations and removing damage caused by the flood that occurred in September 2024.

Five officers were promoted to higher service ranks, while one was promoted to a higher official position.

The County Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec congratulated those honored and thanked all firefighters involved in rescue operations.
