We reported on the traffic lights on Chrobrego Street, opposite the PKP railway station in Bolesławiec, back in July. At that time, the signal heads had already been installed there.
The traffic lights were supposed to be switched on by the end of August. Unfortunately, the deadline was extended, and the lights were activated in November.
Activating the traffic lights at this location is one of many tasks included and adopted in the city budget for 2024. It provides for the construction of vehicle-actuated traffic lights, along with additional lighting at the pedestrian crossing by the PKP railway station.
Are these traffic lights needed there, and will the location be safer?
