The Bolesławiec Middle Schools Table Tennis Championships were held on Monday, January 31, in the gymnasium of Municipal School Complex No. 2. In the girls’ category, the winners were Kamila Kucińska, Sabina Szmyd and Berenika Kułaga from GS No. 4. The team’s coach is Tomasz Zabawa. The team from GS No. 1 (Ewa Hapłyk, Amelia Ziółkowska and Klaudia Ziembikiewicz) took second place. The GS No. 3 team (Dominika Krzyśko and Nikola Nurkowska) finished third.
In the boys’ category, the best were the boys from GS No. 3 (Patryk Nurkowski and Kamil Nebesny). The team’s coach is Piotr Bajer. The table tennis players from GS No. 4 (Marek Kozłowski, Marek Letko and Marcin Olszewski) won second place, while the competitors from GS No. 2 (Bogdan Markowski, Piotr Rajczakowski and Krzysztof Chlebowicz) came third.
The championships were held as part of the 2010/2011 Lower Silesian Middle School Youth Games. The competition was organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre.
