On Thursday (January 27), the district finals in girls’ volleyball (upper-secondary schools) were held in the gymnasium of II LO in Bolesławiec. The district champions were the team from II LO in Bolesławiec. In the semifinal, the II LO team defeated the representatives of I LO in Bolesławiec 2–0 (25:17, 25:12). In the final, the tournament hosts faced ZSP from Lubań. The match ended with a 2–0 victory for our team (25:17, 25:5). The representatives of I LO took third place.

The championship team from II LO advanced to the provincial final. The district champions played in the following lineup: Dorota Burdyna, Zofia Lenkiewicz, Dominika Mienculewicz, Patrycja Ciesielska, Katarzyna Segiet, Katarzyna Melko, Agnieszka Sikora, Urszula Bachusz, Patrycja Kosarczyk, Katarzyna Olichwer, Marika Nastał, Ewa Serkies and Sandra Ryś. The winning team was coached by Piotr Napiórkowski. The competition was organized by the Inter-School Sports Centre, operating within the structures of the District Centre for Education and Staff Training.
