Reader:

I am writing this letter because today (November 4 – editor’s note, istotne.pl) my patience finally ran out.

And he explained:

Every day I commute to Bolesławiec along Route 94 from the direction of Brzeźnik. Anyone who uses it in the morning hours is well aware of the traffic jams that form around the Kwiatowe housing estate. Unfortunately, since the September flood and the destruction of the bridge in Kraszowice, traffic has been heavier than usual. Force majeure—I understand.

What I do not understand, however, is why drivers themselves are acting to their own detriment. The constant letting in of vehicles coming through Zabobrze has created conditions in which many drivers deliberately choose the route through the housing estate, violate the speed limit and race vehicles traveling along the main road. Today there were moments when cars on DK94 below Dino were standing still, while vehicles from Zabobrze entered the intersection one after another, often actually forcing their right of way.

He also added:

It is also incomprehensible to me why some people traveling from the direction of the city stop immediately after leaving the bridge to let cars in from the direction of Dobra. With traffic this heavy, this causes an almost immediate standstill of vehicles in the northern lane, then at the roundabout and, consequently, in the southern lane, so the car being let in still has no chance to join the traffic. Today I passed such a “Samaritan” in the opposite lane. He stopped about 20 meters away from me. When I drew level with his car, all traffic came to a halt. A vehicle that suddenly stops, contrary to the prohibition, on the bridge or within an intersection creates a danger for cars traveling behind it. After all, various types of road incidents have occurred at this location more than once.

He concluded: – Here I appeal to drivers: do not give right of way to vehicles from Zabobrze and do not stop on the bridge. It will be better for all of us. I also appeal to the local Police to take an interest in this matter.

We will ask the Bolesławiec police about the matter.
