Paweł Bednarski, ZDP manager: – Indeed, the contractor carrying out the works mistakenly marked the work area with the sign mentioned by the reader. The aforementioned sign was removed today. We thank the reader for their vigilance and for bringing this to our attention.
A resident of Bolesławiec County wrote to us regarding the entrance to Bolesławiec from the direction of Lwówek:
During the renovation of Jeleniogórska Street, a sign limiting speed to 40 km/h appeared. It was probably put there by someone involved in the aforementioned renovation. The problem is that sign B-33 (speed limit), together with D-42 (built-up area), applies throughout the entire built-up area :)
The reader added: – There is no such sign at the other entrances, so I assume this is an obvious mistake.
We asked ZDP about the matter. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
