The problem concerns drivers traveling along Zgorzelecka Street toward the city center. Many of them fail to obey the A-7 sign positioned before the intersection and enter it, forcing drivers coming from Dolne Młyny Street to brake suddenly.
What is more, some people traveling along Zgorzelecka Street are convinced that they have the right of way there and can express their opinion of other drivers in an extremely uncouth manner.
We remind you that the existing road signs are unambiguous. Drivers traveling along Zgorzelecka Street are required to yield to vehicles coming from the direction of Dolne Młyny Street, where sign D-1 indicates a priority road.
Ignoring the sign may lead to a dangerous situation, and in the event of a collision, responsibility for causing it will fall on the driver who failed to yield, that is, the driver traveling along Zgorzelecka Street.
We appeal to all road users to carefully observe road signs and exercise particular caution when passing through this intersection. A moment of inattention or driving “from memory” may end in a collision and serious consequences.
