Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec stopped a passenger vehicle for inspection, driven by a resident of Bolesławiec County. – The driver's condition aroused the suspicions of the police officers – explains asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – A drug test returned a positive result, indicating that the man had amphetamine in his system.

But that was not the end of it. The spokesperson said: – In addition, the driver had two active court-ordered driving bans. The first, issued by the District Court in Lubań, is in force until July 2027; the second, issued by the court in Bolesławiec, until June 2026.

Furthermore, in 2023, the Bolesławiec County Starost issued a decision revoking the 33-year-old's driving licence.

The irresponsible driver now faces up to five years in prison.
