On Thursday, October 17, around noon, employees of Bader at Mostowa Street in Bolesławiec went outside the company’s premises. As it turned out, this was a practice evacuation carried out as part of an exercise.

Evacuation drills at workplaces are a key element of safety planning, aimed at preparing employees to leave a building quickly and effectively in an emergency.

Regularly conducting such drills makes it possible to identify potential problems in evacuation procedures and familiarize employees with evacuation routes and assembly points.

Depending on the nature of the activity, drills may include various scenarios, such as a fire, a chemical hazard or terrorism. As a result, well-organized evacuation drills increase employee safety and may save lives in the event of a real emergency.
