Update
The incident was classified as a crash; the BMW passenger suffered a spinal injury.
The incident took place on October 11, at around 12:00 p.m., on the Dobra–Osieczów road. As officers initially determined, the BMW driver was turning onto a forest road. The vehicle attempted to avoid a 19-year-old driving a Mercedes, but unfortunately failed to do so.
A collision occurred, as a result of which two BMW passengers were injured. They were taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are.
Both drivers are residents of Bolesławiec County, and both were sober.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers appeal for caution and common sense on the road.
