Criminal investigators from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, acting on the basis of findings, surveillance and a series of operational measures, led to the arrest of three men linked to drug-related crime.

Senior constable Aleksandra Pieprzycka from the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters:

The 26-year-old was arrested at his place of residence; after entering the premises, police officers detected a characteristic odor. At the scene, officers seized marijuana, methamphetamine, MDMA tablets, as well as a firearm and ammunition.

She also emphasized: – The evidence gathered in the case clearly confirmed that the Bolesławiec resident made money by selling drugs. The 26-year-old was charged with three offenses: possessing a significant quantity of drugs and supplying narcotic substances for financial gain. He will also face charges for possessing a pistol and ammunition without the required permit. The prosecutor imposed police supervision as a preventive measure against the suspect.

The criminal investigators’ next step was to search property used by a 50-year-old man linked to the 26-year-old. The spokesperson said: – Near the residential building, in a place concealed by pallets, police officers found three robust plants, while two glass jars containing marijuana were secured in the garage. The 50-year-old admitted to growing and possessing marijuana.

The next person suspected of being linked to drug-related crime was a 39-year-old man. The officer said:

Police thoroughly searched his home. In rooms used by the man, officers secured seven packages containing a significant quantity of prohibited substances. The 39-year-old was charged with two offenses: possessing a significant quantity of marijuana and supplying it for financial gain.

All the suspects are residents of Bolesławiec County.

In total, Bolesławiec police officers removed more than 2,600 commercial doses of marijuana, 100 doses of methamphetamine and several MDMA tablets from the market, and secured three cannabis plants, a firearm and ammunition. Officers also secured a vehicle and money from the detainees to cover potential future penalties.

Possessing a significant quantity of narcotic substances and selling them is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. Possession of drugs and illegal cannabis cultivation carry a sentence of up to three years in prison. Possessing a firearm or ammunition without the required permit can result in up to eight years behind bars.
