A reader sent us a link to a post on The Bad Bunzlauer. It reads: “Does anyone know the expected timeline for restoring traffic on the Kraszowice–Ocice section? Taking the children to school used to take 10 minutes, but now it takes an hour, which, let’s be honest, is quite a significant problem.”

As we have established, this is a road administered by Powiat Bolesławiecki. The office is considering two options. The first is a detour. The second is rebuilding the aforementioned road, which was destroyed by the flood. (The embankment will necessarily have to be reconstructed from scratch).

Some of the applications concerning the reconstruction of the section have already been submitted to the wojewoda, while the final ones are to be sent to DUW in the near future. For now, it is not known when they will be considered or whether the local office will receive funding for this purpose. Unfortunately, drivers will have to be patient.

We will return to this topic.
