Kacper contacted us to ask for help for two families from Trzebień affected by the flood:

Mr. Paweł has lived in this house for only two years, and his brother-in-law and his family are in a very similar situation. They live in a single-storey house, which they moved into less than a year ago, and it has now been completely flooded. They have three children, including an eight-month-old baby.

Kacper is organizing auctions, with the proceeds to be donated to flood victims: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1636961086897033

Trzebień in Lower Silesia has suffered enormously because of the flood. The flood inundated and destroyed two homes belonging to our close family—young people—and the two houses were occupied by two families, including a father raising two young children on his own. The second house was home to a family with three children. The buildings are uninhabitable and require reconstruction. The force and volume of the water destroyed the underfloor heating installed in the floor, and the concrete floor cracked in many places. The water has not yet receded, but it is already clear that the house will require a complete renovation. Flooded floors, electrical, water and sewage systems, and plaster are just some of the work that will have to be done before they can return to everyday life. Within a few moments, the water flooded their belongings. At present, everyone has shelter and is staying with people close to them. However, for them to return to normality and function as they did before the disaster, we need funds for reconstruction. The estimated costs the victims must bear are high—far too high for them to cover on their own. That is why I decided to start a fundraiser and support them during this difficult time. I ask you for donations and help.
