– The duty officer at the Chojnów Police Commissariat received a report of air-rifle shots being fired in one of the housing estates of detached houses in Chojnów. The information indicated that a man was shooting in the direction of children – reports Commissioner Jagoda Ekiert, press officer for the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters.
District officers immediately went to the scene and arrested the 54-year-old identified by the minors. The spokeswoman: – At his place of residence, police officers found and secured several air rifles and a package of pellets.
The man has already been charged with exposing children to the danger of loss of life or serious harm to health. He explained his behavior by saying that he had been drunk and remembered absolutely nothing.

Yesterday, the 54-year-old resident of Chojnów was brought before the prosecutor’s office, where a preventive measure was imposed on him in the form of police supervision combined with an order to refrain from abusing alcohol.
The man faces up to three years in prison.
