On Sunday, at the age of 74, Rudolf “Władek” Rupa died. A graduate of BKS Bolesławiec, he joined Zagłębie Lubin in the winter of 1979, exactly one month before the memorable Polish Cup match against Wisła Kraków. In 1982, he was promoted to the second division with Zagłębie Lubin. He moved to Górnik Polkowice, where he ended his career, and later also coached the first team.
The funeral ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at 2 p.m. at the Municipal Cemetery in Bolesławiec.
