The stage that stood in Piłsudski Square for over a month, Kornel Filipowicz, director of BOK–MCC, purchased it for approximately PLN 370,000 gross (PLN 303,152.44 net). We first wrote about the stage in the article: The BOK–MCC stage is taking up parking spaces in Piłsudski Square.

The stage was set up for the Ceramics Festival (15–18 August). It was not dismantled until 20 September. To do so, half of the parking lot was closed to customers. Dismantling and transporting the stage cost an additional PLN 6,000. This is only an estimate, as Director Filipowicz did not disclose the actual cost to the public. Storing the stage at 8 Modłowa Street (PKS) costs an additional PLN 240 per month.

Unfortunately, the lack of information from the BOK–MCC director himself regarding the number of events and rentals makes it impossible to estimate when the stage will pay for itself for the local-government unit—and whether that will happen at all.

The estimated rental prices for a similar stage are around PLN 20,000 or more. For how much will the stage be rented out? We asked about this on 23 September 2024. We will probably receive an answer in two weeks, because Director Filipowicz decided to respond to residents’ simple questions within that timeframe.
