On Saturday, at around 10:00 p.m., a fire truck belonging to the Volunteer Fire Department collided with a Volkswagen passenger car at one of the intersections in Nowa Sól (Lubusz Voivodeship). tvn24.pl reported the incident.
As a result of the collision, the person travelling in the Volkswagen was injured. They were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The fire truck was travelling with its lights and siren activated. The police are investigating the details of the incident.
Intensive operations by the services related to flood-control efforts are currently under way in Lubusz Voivodeship.
