In mid-September, the premiere of the new album by Arkadiusz Kanibal took place. The album is titled “Młody Cesarz” and is a two-disc release. The artist himself about the new project:
It was a truly crazy year.
In 2022, after the release of “Niebieskie Światła”, I felt that what I had done was my maximum. I was probably not mistaken, but when I started writing “Młody Cesarz”, I made one resolution: to be twice as good as I had been before. I work with wonderful people and I know that with them I will reach the stars. I met liLKacpiego and Mariusza Dorgona, who proved to me that all my musical barriers were merely a lack of an idea for modernization.
In 2023, due to a lack of funds, I had to greatly limit my projects to a few loose singles and a few remixes. However, I decided that after a break, the project could work only with full force. Do I think today that I cannot do more? Probably so, but my manager Dawid, my partner Mariusz, my parents, producer Kacper and sound engineer Bartek will quickly remind me that this is not true, and that “Młody Cesarz” is only the beginning.
Why is this a two-disc release?

When I released my debut (“Księżyc” – 2021), I also made a two-disc edition. While at that time it was connected with the motto “Quantity, not quality”, this time I decided to surprise everyone and create a lot of music at a genuinely high level. Additionally, I separated the first disc, which I made solo. On the second, however, I invited guests, because every track features at least one collaborator.

I had a great adventure. I remember Kanibal telling me about his music, and I remember exactly when I decided to support him with this album… I do what I love, not what is supposed to sell – these words made me immediately know that I would join the project. These days, there are not many young people with passion, and Arek is precisely such a young man. I had a great time recording the videos; thanks to Arek, the idea for a small show came about: on the right side of the bar, where I can reset my mind after intensive work. As for the album and the tracks themselves, it is not for me to judge – the listeners will do that, but it is worth mentioning that this album was made with heart, not a desire for profit, which, in my opinion, already earns it the Amber Nightingale award:) This is clearly a different perspective on this kind of music, and that is very good; let us not allow ourselves to be confined by frameworks, let us create and show who we are, just as Kanibal does.
