Insulting comments at issue in the proceedings before the District Court were published in December 2023 beneath an article about a priest from Bolesławiec. The posts targeted Krzysztof Gwizdała, owner of istotne.pl and co-author of a video report published later.
The comments, as established by the police, were sent from a phone whose owner turned out to be the “pastoral assistant.” The parish priest called the man that when someone asked him who the young man staying at the parish house in Bolesławiec was.
Let us recall that the same man once tried his luck on a TVN program, but without success. Some of the videos he posted on social media were recorded at the Bolesławiec parish house. In those videos, the man demonstrated various exercises that helped him stay in shape before his casting for Top Model. In videos from the parish house, he also strutted around in various tight-fitting outfits and played with confetti.
We cannot write about what happened at the September hearing because the proceedings have been closed to the public.
The next hearing will take place in November 2024.
