From the morning of 19 September, replacement buses will run instead of trains on the Kłodzko – Bystrzyca Kłodzka – Międzylesie and Lichkov in the Czech Republic route. Replacement bus services will also be launched on the Nowa Ruda – Kłodzko Miasto section.
Plan of the Koleje Dolnośląskie network in operation on 19 September 2024:
The Nowa Ruda – Wałbrzych section cannot be opened because it is not possible to operate it in a way that guarantees passenger safety.
Koleje Dolnośląskie are continuing their efforts to guarantee service on the Wałbrzych Główny – Nowa Ruda – Kłodzko Miasto line.
Unfortunately, the company’s employees from the Kłodzko region are still, for the most part, fighting the effects of the flood. Of the several-dozen-member “Kłodzko depot” team, only one person has declared readiness to work. This is causing major difficulties in resuming rail traffic on the Kłodzko – Nowa Ruda – Wałbrzych Główny and Świdnica – Jedlina Zdrój sections.
The current Koleje Dolnośląskie network map is available on the home page at www.kolejedolnoslaskie.pl and on the carrier’s social media channels.
Before planning your journey, please check the map above on our website. The situation in Lower Silesia is dynamic, and new closures may occur.
Below are example connections:
- Wrocław Główny – Sobótka – Świdnica – Dzierżoniów – Bielawa
The line is operated for passenger services; local flooding and the replacement of trains with buses on individual sections are possible. Before planning your journey, please check the information on www.kolejedolnoslaskie.pl.
- Legnica – Jawor – Strzegom – Jaworzyna Śląska – Dzierżoniów – Ząbkowice Śląskie – Kamieniec Ząbkowicki
The line has been operated by passenger trains since the morning of 18 September.
- Gryfów Śląski – Świeradów-Zdrój
Rail services have been restored on the Gryfów Śląski – Orłowice section, while replacement buses operate between Orłowice and Świeradów-Zdrój. The Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei is carrying out work to restore rail connections on the entire section. Please follow the announcements, where we will provide information about changes in this regard.
Possible hazards on KD routes
Rudna Gwizdanów – Głogów: the water level of the Oder is high at kilometre 97.5 (near the Neptun building in Głogów). There is a risk that the Rudna Gwizdanów – Głogów section will be closed to traffic.
Wrocław Główny – Siechnice – Jelcz-Laskowice: the line is passable, but the tunnel providing passenger access to the platforms has been flooded.
Jelenia Góra – Gryfów Śląski: a rail broke twice in the past two days at Rębiszów station. At present, the section is passable, but if problems occur, individual sections are served by replacement buses.
There are delays on all routes between Goerlitz – Zgorzelec – Lubań – Gryfów Śląski – Jelenia Góra. Please check your connections before your planned journey in the Passenger Portal app or at www.portalpasazera.pl.
