The water level on the Bóbr is steadily falling, revealing more and more damage. Earlier, the swollen Bóbr River broke numerous trees. Witnesses say that the sound of breaking trees combined with the roar of the swollen river was terrifying. Nature showed its strength, breaking trees like matches.
Broken trees fell, among other places, onto the footbridge connecting Gdańska Street with Spacerowa Street. Many trees were carried downstream, creating an additional danger for bridges.
Although entering the footbridge, which is in a terrible technical condition, is prohibited, people ignore the ban, pass through the tape, look at the swollen river and take photos from the weakened structure.
