The area affected by the natural disaster will include:
- in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:
- the Kamienna Góra, Karkonosze, Kłodzko, Lwówek Śląski, Wałbrzych and Ząbkowice counties,
- the cities with county rights of Wałbrzych and Jelenia Góra;
- in the Opole Voivodeship:
- the Głubczyce, Nysa and Prudnik counties,
- the Strzeleczki municipality in Krapkowice County;
- in the Silesian Voivodeship:
- the Bielsko, Cieszyn, Pszczyna and Racibórz counties,
- the city with county rights of Bielsko-Biała.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk did not rule out that this list could change if necessary.
During the state of natural disaster, the following types of restrictions on the freedoms and rights of people and citizens apply:
- the obligation to vacate or secure residential premises or other rooms;
- an order to evacuate, within a specified period, from specified places, areas and facilities;
- an order or prohibition concerning presence in specified places and facilities or in specified areas;
- an order or prohibition concerning a specified method of movement.

NOTICE OF THE LOWER SILESIAN VOIVODE
on the introduction by the Council of Ministers of a state of natural disaster in parts of the Lower Silesian, Opole and Silesian Voivodeships
Pursuant to Article 22 of the Act of 23 January 2009 on the voivode and government administration in the voivodeship (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 190) and Article 5(3) of the Act of
18 April 2002 on the state of natural disaster (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1897),
I hereby notify
that on 16 September 2024, the Regulation of the Council of Ministers on introducing a state of natural disaster in parts of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Opole and Silesian Voivodeships (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1365) enters into force. The text of the regulation referred to above constitutes an annex to this notice.
