On 11 September 2024, a meeting was held at the Bolesławiec County Office between the Coordinator for Persons with Disabilities, operating at the Bolesławiec County Office, Łukasz Januszke and representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Bolesławiec County. The meeting aimed to exchange information, discuss current challenges and jointly plan activities for people with disabilities.
The participants discussed possibilities for improving cooperation between non-governmental organizations and public institutions, which would enable more effective support for people with disabilities.
The non-governmental organizations had an opportunity to present their projects, activities and achievements, as well as the problems they encounter in their work.
They also discussed needs related to cooperation, resources and support from the coordinator.
The meeting participants agreed that they would organize regular meetings in the future to exchange experiences and ideas for further activities on an ongoing basis.
