Electric shock is an extremely dangerous phenomenon and can lead to serious health consequences or even death. The effects of electric shock depend on many factors, such as the type and voltage of the current, the duration of exposure, and the path it takes through the body.

In Poland, accidents involving electric shock account for approximately 3% of all workplace accidents. They most often occur as a result of contact with alternating current at 230 V, which corresponds to the standard voltage in electrical outlets.

In the event of an electric shock, it is essential to provide immediate first aid, which can save the injured person’s life and health. It is important to avoid dangerous situations and take appropriate precautions when working with electrical devices and in the home environment.
