The istotne.pl portal is once again unrivalled among portals in the Bolesławiec region. In August, we recorded almost 950,000 visits (sessions) and 2.6 million page views. These are data provided by Similarweb and verified by Google Analytics.

The portal belonging to the sad-looking man in the photo (Marcin Marczewski) had only 280,000 visits, or 3.4 times fewer. In August, the man in the photo wrote a correction about himself on his own website. In it, he gave figures that we cannot verify in any way, because Marczewski does not want to share the source data from Google Analytics.

August is the month when the Pottery Festival takes place. All information related to the event attracted a great deal of attention from our readers—the most popular was the report about hooligans attacking people and the cancellation of the pottery parade (as an aside, let us add that President Piotr Roman has still not condemned the hooligans’ conduct or their verbal attack on parade participants).

In August, we also followed the disappearance and finding of Izabela P., a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Below, we present a list of the most-read news stories in August 2024, together with their number of views.
