The incident occurred during the night of August 29–30.
Nowogrodziec firefighters were dispatched at 3 a.m. to a rubbish fire. As they themselves noted: “in a place everyone knows.”
This refers to the former Nowogrodziec clinker plant, where fires regularly broke out in the past. Let us hope that we will not now face a repeat.
The danger was eliminated; fortunately, no one was injured.
