The arrest took place several days ago in Kłodzko. – Officers responsible for combating drug-related crime – as a result of operational work – determined that a 19-year-old resident of the county might possess narcotic substances – reports asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
In the suspect’s car, officers found a bag containing a white substance on the seat. The spokesperson said: – The teenager assured the police officers that it was salt, but they were not fooled. They quickly realized that the man was lying. A preliminary test showed that it was amphetamine.
Detectives found several dozen doses of drugs in the 19-year-old’s underwear. The policewoman summed up:
The officers seized substances prohibited by law, from which nearly 5,000 doses could have been prepared. In addition, the behavior of the teenager who was driving aroused the officers’ suspicion that he was driving under the influence of drugs. Therefore, to determine the presence of an illegal substance in his body, blood was drawn for testing.
The 19-year-old was charged with possessing a significant quantity of drugs. He faces up to 10 years in prison. At the investigators’ request, the suspect was remanded in custody by the court for three months.
