As reported by the Wrocław-based outlet, the General Inspectorate of Road Transport plans to install two systems on the A4:

  • on the Kąty Wrocławskie–Wrocław Południe section,
  • on the Krzyżowa–Krzywa section.

(A third check is planned on the A8 – Wrocław Północ–Wrocław Stadion).

It is not yet certain whether they will actually be installed there. – These are the proposed locations – Wojciech Król, ITD spokesperson, said in an interview with the Wrocław outlet, adding that they will still be analysed by the system contractor.

The outlet summarises:

Residents of Lower Silesia are the record-holders when it comes to fines for breaking the rules while travelling through the only section-average speed camera zone in the area, Kostomłoty–Kąty Wrocławskie. In the first half of the year, 51,000 people received fines, accounting for 38% of all penalties in Poland.
