You can once again take advantage of a special promotion – for just PLN 59, you can travel by KD trains throughout the entire voivodeship. This is another such promotion organized by the carrier this year.
The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is an offer that allows you to travel by regional carriers’ trains throughout Lower Silesia using a single ticket. Travel is unlimited, and you can board any Koleje Dolnośląskie or Polregio train. For just PLN 59, you can travel from Wednesday, 14 August, at 6:00 p.m., until Monday, 19 August, at 6:00 a.m.

The favorite promotion of Lower Silesia residents

Wrocław’s historic architecture and excellent culinary experiences, the impressive Kłodzko Fortress, Jedlinka Palace in Jedlina-Zdrój, the Piast Castle in Legnica, the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival in Bolesławiec, or perhaps the Owl Mountains? The long weekend offers excellent destinations for a city break and an even better opportunity to discover the region. “During the previous long May weekend, we observed considerable interest in the promotion. Lower Silesia residents and tourists explored the region, traveling on our trains in comfortable conditions. It is an excellent opportunity not only to cover hundreds of kilometers and admire the views from the train window, but also to discover the charming corners of Lower Silesia,” says Bartłomiej Rodak, press spokesperson for Koleje Dolnośląskie.

The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is also a great opportunity for football fans to watch live matches in the lower leagues. A football and interactive map of Lower Silesia, created in cooperation between the Lower Silesian Football Association and Koleje Dolnośląskie, will help with planning trips. It is available at: bit.ly/MapaDZPN. Thanks to the platform, users can easily plan a route to the selected venue via Google Maps.

However, that is not all. The Integrated Ticket of the Owl Mountains Municipalities, which allows travel on KD trains and ZPGSA Bielawa buses, will also be valid during the same period – from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday (14 August) until 6:00 a.m. on Monday (19 August). For just PLN 65, one ticket provides access to connections operated by both carriers.

By Train to the Polish Seaside

On 15 August, an additional KD Premium Nadmorski connection from Wrocław to the Baltic Sea will also operate. On the public holiday Thursday, a train made up of two Impuls units will run from Wrocław to Międzyzdroje and Świnoujście – providing twice as much space and comfort. It will also be possible to return the same day: at 2:48 p.m., one train will depart from Świnoujście toward Lower Silesia.

“This connection is also extremely popular. This year, we have already surpassed last year’s result for the corresponding period – by the end of July, as many as 3,700 passengers had used the KD Premium Nadmorski train connection to the Polish seaside!” notes Bartłomiej Rodak.

Tickets for the extended August weekend and for KD Premium Nadmorski can be purchased on www.kolejedolnoslaskie.pl, at KD ticket offices and ticket machines, and in the KOLEO app. The Lower Silesian Weekend Ticket is valid from Wednesday, 13 August, at 6:00 p.m., until Monday, 19 August, at 6:00 a.m. As part of the weekend ticket, you can additionally purchase a ticket for transporting a bicycle for PLN 12 and a ticket for transporting a dog for PLN 5.40. Additional tickets are valid for one day. A separate ticket for transporting a bicycle or animal must be purchased for each journey.
