The body of the boy who went missing at the gravel pit near Bolesławiec (not far from the Mrówka store) was found just before 10:00 p.m. The search had been under way since around 8:00 p.m., when the services received information about his disappearance.
Using sonar, divers located the body.
Units of the fire service from Bolesławiec and Legnica, the volunteer fire service in Trzebień, and the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters took part in the rescue operation.
Unofficially, we learned that the boy was 16–17 years old and was Ukrainian.
