Municipalities of Bolesławiec County Receive Grants from the Marshal. What For?

The Lower Silesian Voivodeship government supports local governments by providing funds for important projects and investments.

On July 11, agreements were signed with local governments from the Jelenia Góra subregion as part of two competitions:

• As part of the “Revitalization of the Lower Silesian Countryside” project, 16 municipalities received grants: Bolesławiec, Gromadka, Gryfów Śląski, Janowice Wielkie, Kamienna Góra, Leśna, Lubań, Lwówek Śląski, Marciszów, Olszyna, Osiecznica, Pieńsk, Podgórzyn, Sulików, Warta Bolesławiecka and Węgliniec—for a total amount of more than PLN 574,000. Thanks to this support, residents will be able to use new playgrounds and outdoor gyms, as well as renovated community centers.
• Meanwhile, six municipalities received grants for the ongoing maintenance of water drainage facilities: Nowogrodziec, Wleń, Warta Bolesławiecka, Bolesławiec, Pieńsk and Gromadka—for a total amount of more than PLN 112,000. Investments in water drainage will, among other things, improve safety and protection against local flooding.
