The annual “Christmas Traditions” event organized by BOK-MCC will be exceptionally rich in attractions. On Saturday and Sunday (18–19 December), the Christmas Ceramic Fair will be held in Bolesławiec Market Square. Visitors will be able to buy Christmas items, tree ornaments and artistic handicrafts, as well as sample mulled wine, Christmas baked goods and Christmas Eve dishes.
Bolesławiec ensembles will sing carols and pastoral songs. Santa's house will be set up, where Santa will read stories to children. Young people from the BOK-MCC acting workshop will present “A Christmas Carol” on stage. There will also be a live nativity scene.
On Saturday, 18 December, at 5:00 p.m., the mayor will extend Christmas greetings to residents. This year's event will feature, for the first time, an outdoor glassblowing demonstration. Students from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass in Wrocław have been invited to Bolesławiec; on Saturday, they will build a special glassmaking furnace in the Market Square for the occasion. The two-day event will conclude with the “Christmas Parade” performance.
