In June, two meetings were held at the Powiatowe Centrum Pomocy Rodzinie w Bolesławcu on the impact of intoxicating substances, drugs and other stimulants on human health, led by specialist diagnostician Maciej Smutek.
The activities were conducted along two separate tracks – one for foster parents and one for young people.
During the meetings, Maciej presented the threats that the abuse of substances such as coffee, medicines and supplements, but above all nicotine, alcohol and drugs, poses to health and life.
The training took the form of lectures illustrated with a multimedia presentation. The meeting was attended by 24 teenagers and 23 foster families.
