Unit:

The artillery personnel of the headquarters and subunits of the 23rd Artillery Regiment took part in the competition held last week. It was conducted in two stages—theoretical and practical. The first stage tested the artillerymen's knowledge of firing and fire control, combat work on equipment, surveying, and occupational health and safety regulations. The aim of the second stage was to test practical skills, namely carrying out artillery fire missions and performing geodetic referencing tasks.

After completing the tasks in the written tests, the competition participants performed individual tasks at the artillery firing simulator. Regiment: – At this stage, the accuracy of carrying out the fire mission, the time taken, and the number of instructional errors made while performing the fire mission were assessed.

This year's title of “Artillery Fire Champion of the 23rd Artillery Regiment” went to Second Lieutenant Paweł Fiutak, while First Lieutenant Piotr Jastrowicz became the runner-up. Both will represent the unit at the next stage at division level. The winners received letters of congratulations, while the champion was awarded a perpetual trophy.

The formation also honored the winners of the competition for tactics champion, in which Captain Daniel Kryjak proved to be the best, and the competition for methodology champion, won by Second Lieutenant Artur August.
