The incident occurred on Monday, June 10. Firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
(…) at 7:08 p.m., we were called to a man who had slipped down an embankment toward the river in Nowogrodziec—Szpitalna Street.
They added:
At the scene, we carried out evacuation operations. We transferred the injured person onto a spinal board and, using ropes and the firefighters’ strength, brought them to safe ground.
The injured person was attended to by an emergency medical team. The operation lasted approximately 30 minutes.
