This year's post-plener exhibition features works by fifteen artists who stayed in Bolesławiec in August this year at three ceramic factories: ZC “Bolesławiec,” Manufaktura and Ceramika Artystyczna. Magdalena Gazur, the curator of the symposiums, emphasizes that they were a space for building interpersonal relationships and wrestling with the material. The artist believes that creating shared relationships was the most important function of the Bolesławiec gatherings.

Two Bolesławiec artists worked at the symposium. They were the former symposium curator Krystyna Gay-Kutchenreiter and Czesław Matyjewicz, who for many years ran his own studio at the Bolesławiec Cultural Center. Krystyna Gay-Kutchenreiter worked on a sculptural composition entitled “Conversation,” while Czesław Matyjewicz presented an openwork version of another of his refined Towers of Babel, entitled “Kokoro.”

The organizers invite visitors to the gallery of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center–International Ceramics Center to view creative expressions of conversations, emotions, closeness or a lack of understanding.
