As reported by the Bolesławiec municipal authorities:
This year marks the second edition of the BMRW. More than 50 motorcyclists took part. The event is part of the celebrations of Veterans’ Day of Operations Outside the State’s Borders and the International Day of United Nations Peacekeeping Mission Participants. As part of the rally, veterans of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and other uniformed services visit the graves of deceased soldiers—veterans of military missions—where they lay flowers and light candles. Participation in the Motorcycle Veterans’ Rally is an expression of remembrance and respect for all soldiers who died on missions outside the country’s borders.
