An incident occurred on Thursday, at around 6:00 p.m., in Lwówek Śląski. As the person reporting it wrote in a letter to the editorial office of lwowecki.info:

(...) a police patrol was called to a body found near the “Wyzwolenie” allotments, on Torowa Street, near the water tower. (...) I happened to be out for a walk when I saw a police patrol. Three children on bicycles were discussing finding a body, and then two men were also talking about a body having been found.

The body of a 67-year-old man was found at the scene. According to investigators, the body had been there for at least several days.

The police and prosecutor’s office are determining the cause of the incident. An autopsy is expected to clarify all doubts. The Lwówek outlet reported:

Police officers said that psychological assistance had been offered to the children. The neighborhood officer is in regular contact with their parents.
