The incident took place on 29 May. At 6:11 p.m. firefighters from Olszyna were dispatched to a road incident in their town.
As established by the eluban.pl:
(…) the Dacia driver travelling along DK 30 towards Jelenia Góra dozed off at the wheel, crossed to the opposite side of the road and hit a crash barrier. Disoriented, he fortunately managed to regain control of the damaged car and stop it in the lane closed to traffic several dozen metres further on.
Fortunately, no one suffered anything more serious. Police are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing for prudence and caution on the road.
