Marta Zborowska, chair of the Municipal Electoral Commission in Bolesławiec, presented certificates confirming election to the Bolesławiec City Council for its ninth term, as well as the certificate confirming election as Mayor of Bolesławiec.
Before beginning to exercise their mandates, councillors take the oath: “Faithful to the Constitution and the law of the Republic of Poland, I solemnly swear to perform the duties of a councillor with dignity, diligence and honesty, bearing in mind the welfare of my municipality and its residents.” From that moment, the City Council is authorized to adopt resolutions and exercise the powers and duties provided for by law.
The statutory composition of the Bolesławiec City Council is 21 councillors.
