Dawid Sarbak has become the first deputy chairperson.


The council will now choose Łukasz Jaźwiec’s first deputy. The candidate for the position is Dawid Sarbak of Law and Justice, who served as head of the PiS group in Bolesławiec City Council during the previous term.

Dawid Sarbak won a seat after running for City Council on behalf of PiS and receiving 511 votes. The councillor is 31 years old.

His opponent is Joanna Strzelecka of the Civic Coalition. (46 years old, 241 votes).

The Civic Coalition came first in the Bolesławiec City Council elections, receiving 27.16 percent of the vote. It will introduce seven councillors to the body. The committee of Mayor Piotr Roman came second, with six councillors. Law and Justice will have as many as five councillors. Impuls Lokalny, Ziemia Bolesławiecka and Trzecia Droga will each have one.
