A young man in his twenties entered the viaduct at 8:16 a.m. He crossed over the span right next to the bypass.
At 8:30 a.m., the first emergency services were at the scene. The man walked from one railing to another, also climbed onto the ledge and talked on the phone. Firefighters deployed an air safety cushion.
At 8:34 a.m., rail traffic was suspended. At 8:35 a.m., an ambulance arrived at the scene. At 8:36 a.m., police officers entered the viaduct. When they approached the young man, he began to run away. While running, he jumped over the railings on the skatepark side and fell to the ground. Unfortunately, the air safety cushion was on the other side of the structure.
The man was taken to hospital in critical condition. His life is at risk.
