Update
Zgorzelec police on the incident:
Yesterday, before 4:00 p.m., a fatal road accident occurred on provincial road number 350. Under the supervision of a prosecutor, police officers from the Traffic Department of the Zgorzelec unit and the Police Station in Pieńsk worked at the scene. According to preliminary findings, the rider of a Kawasaki motorcycle failed to adjust his speed, left the road and hit a tree. Unfortunately, the 22-year-old resident of Lubusz Voivodeship died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The incident took place on April 14. Firefighters from Ruszów:
(…) at approximately 4:20 p.m., our 609-21 unit was dispatched to a road accident on provincial road DW 350 Ruszów–Gozdnica.
They add:
On a bend in the road, the young motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle and entered the forest, hitting a tree. As a result of his injuries, he died at the scene.
Police and prosecutors are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
