The incident took place after midnight on April 10. Firefighters from Lwówek Śląski:
(…) at 12:33 a.m., a report of a building fire in the village of Giebułtówek was received by the Dispatch Station of the District Commander in Lwówek Śląski.
They added:
Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that the building was on fire and there was a suspicion that someone was inside. (...) After the fire was extinguished, the body of the victim was found in a room on the ground floor.
And they summed up: – The firefighters’ further actions involved completely extinguishing the fire and dismantling the building’s scorched elements.
The police and prosecutor’s office are investigating the case.
