Several days ago, at around 1:00 p.m., officers from the Prochowice police station, while patrolling one of the villages, spotted two men travelling on an agricultural tractor. One of them was sitting behind the tractor’s wheel, while the other was sitting on the mudguard.

The officers activated their lights and siren to stop the driver for a traffic check. However, the tractor driver had other plans and decided to flee.

The tractor driver’s “wild” escape did not last long. The police blocked his way and ended the chase.

After stopping him, they checked the desperate man’s sobriety. It turned out that he had 0.26 parts per mille of alcohol in his system. Furthermore, after checking the 32-year-old in police information systems, it came to light that he was subject to an active court-ordered ban on driving motor vehicles.

He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
