At the beginning of December, firefighter Andrzej from Nowogrodziec suffered serious knee injuries, including torn ligaments and damaged menisci, requiring at least a year of treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.
Andrzej, who is also an officer of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, a student at the Academy of Fire Safety and a supervisor of the Youth Firefighting Team, is known for his sporting activity and social involvement. His condition requires surgery at a private clinic due to the long wait for a reimbursed procedure, which involves high costs.
Friends and colleagues are appealing for financial support to enable Andrzej to regain full fitness and continue his service.
