On March 8, female honorary blood donors from Bolesławiec were recognized by the male members of the Municipal HDK – PCK Club.
Municipal Office: – The pleasant ceremony in the Councilors’ Hall was, in addition to wishes of health, happiness and joy for the ladies, a thank-you for their active blood and blood-component donations, because blood is the most precious gift one can give another person.
The meeting was attended by Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman and County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak. The ceremony was hosted by Roman Bodak, president of the Municipal HDK – PCK Club.
He adds: – It is worth remembering that since March 4 this year, blood collection drives in Bolesławiec have been held at a permanent location three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Regional Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill, 30 Tysiąclecia Avenue (donor registration, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.). The newly established center is operated by the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Center.
