Maciej Mazur found a dog after 11 p.m. outside a house on Zygmunta Augusta Street. He did not want to leave it outside, but he could not take it home either. He went to the Municipal Police. Unfortunately, it was closed. He later went to the police. There, he was told that they do not deal with dogs and that he had to manage on his own.

Unfortunately, it is not known what someone who finds a dog on a holiday or at night can do. No one in our town has thought about this. We will seek answers on Friday at the Municipal Police.

If anyone recognizes their dog in the photograph, they can call Maciej. Tel. 668 404 538.

Response from the Municipal Police

The Bolesławiec Municipal Police informs that on November 12, 2010, the case of the dog found by a Bolesławiec resident was successfully resolved. It turned out that the dog had an implanted microchip, which made it possible to identify the animal’s owner, whose details were listed in the dog register maintained by the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. The owner turned out to be a resident of Łaziska. The dog is waiting to be collected by its owner.
