Bolesławiec police on the incident:
According to preliminary information obtained by police officers working at the scene, (...) the driver of a passenger car, for an undetermined reason, crashed into the rear of a truck. The passenger-car driver's condition required the intervention of the Polish Medical Air Rescue service, and consequently both lanes of the motorway were blocked.

State Fire Service Headquarters on the incident
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 5 March, after 13:00, at the 23rd kilometre of the A4 motorway, in the direction of Zgorzelec. According to preliminary information, a passenger car crashed into a truck. One person is trapped in the vehicle.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. More information soon.
