On Sunday, March 3, officers from the District Officers’ Unit in Świeradów-Zdrój responded to a domestic intervention concerning property damage. As it turned out at the scene, the 19-year-old, overcome with emotion, damaged the refrigerator by tearing off its door and then smashed the glass shelves.
To make matters worse, he took his anger out on the microwave standing nearby, throwing it onto the floor. The young aggressor vented his emotions on household appliances because there was no… processed cheese in the refrigerator. Notified of the incident, police officers arrested the vandal.
The suspect was charged with property damage, which he admitted to. He could face up to 5 years in prison for the offence.
